Cigar Chest Humidor Made Cuba Precastro Rare findwooden cigar chest made in cuba. 16 high x 14 x 10 deep.
Hinged doors with lock open to 2 drawers each divided in half. Has been recently used as a jewerly box. The bottmo drawer has an empty space behind it which appears to have been for secret storage. On the back it is stamped made in cuba.
The cigars herein contained were imported to retail at more than 20 cents and are go? Tax paid.
The exterior hsa some scuffingparticularily by the key hole. The front of the drawers have some marks that look as though they were forced open at one time. The front of the doors are irbbed with a wooden diamond shape on each door. Between the drawers and the top of the chest there seems to be a contained empty space. The wood is a cherry color but it may be a lighter wood that has been stained. Inside, parts of the drawers seem like the same wood as cigar boxes. There is a smell somewhere between cedar and an old jewelry box odor. Touched up with a little tlc and this could be gorgeous. It is already a handsome piece. tI has a glossy finish.
